Own design

From 2003 I made some own designs of software. The most important design I made is in the area of wages and salary administration.  It is one of my specialisms as you can read in the summary of my resume.  I got experienced in it doing the following tasks over lots of years.

   Product consultancy
   Helpdesk work
   Testing of developed software
   Designing supplementary software on existing systems
   (Parts of) new product designs.

In the preceding years I gave more attention to financial and front office systems, but during this period I kept most of my knowledge up to date.  While doing this design all knowledge was updated automatically.

What has been developed in my design is software with a growing path.
    In the first stage establish database and make preliminary calculation
    Secondly create definite calculations
    Third will be dividing cost to projects
    The fourth step would be adding interfaces
    And fifth additional arrangements for input would be made

The basic idea on which it is constructed is building up data upon the duties of law the employer has.  The duties to taxes and other governmental organizations and duties to employees. First stage has been designed including all known demands for the next stages.  In all stages definition of adequate output is included.  Starting point of this is the use of appropriate software for generation of output.  The system is designed to operate in contact with standard software for relationships management .  So this part was not included in my design.  The idea behind this is that many of the data of employees are normal data of relations and these should be kept in the same way.  Of course data which are very personal and specific to salaries aren't available for everyone.  Connected to this is the idea that in many organizations employees data are connected with projects and other activities, in order to get the right planning and operational data.

The system is designed for use by any company.  It is constructed to be used "in home".  The ideas in it are many times grounded on my knowledge of using Delphi for making software for frontoffice and backoffice.  This knowledge also guarantees the choice for best practice in the way user interfaces are being built up and especially the own choice of the user to build his own main user interface.

All these ideas about the way users can be served aren't only ideas.  In the time the design was being written down a so called "play" environment has been made by one of my best friends.  He provided me freely of additional ideas and information to sharpen my mind and make my design a best practice mix between ready to use software and a conductable system.  The system foresees several kinds of specifications which can be put on the right place in the calculation.

Being implemented in the right way the system has to serve users maximally.
   You can make many defauts
   It gives a maximum of default settings in employee data
   Preliminary calculations can be made without delay
   Definite calculations can be made any moment for anyone
   You can meet all your obligations
